🏥 His Royal Highness, Emir of Dukku, Calls for the Establishment of Additional Hospital in Dukku Town

His Royal Highness, Alhaji Haruna Abdulkadiri Rashid II, the Emir of Dukku, has made a heartfelt appeal to the government and relevant stakeholders to establish an additional hospital in Dukku town to meet the growing healthcare needs of the community.

Speaking during a public engagement at the palace, the Emir emphasized the urgent need for expanding healthcare infrastructure in the area:

“The population of Dukku continues to grow rapidly. The current health facilities are overstretched and no longer sufficient, especially for vulnerable groups such as pregnant women, children, and the elderly.”

The Emir urged both the state and federal governments, as well as non-governmental organizations and development partners, to support the construction of a new hospital or the expansion of existing ones to ease pressure on the healthcare system and improve access to quality medical services.

He noted that enhancing healthcare delivery in Dukku will significantly contribute to saving lives, preventing disease outbreaks, and improving the overall well-being of the people.
